Extension Booms
Oskar’s swinging extension booms are designed to extend the reach of Oskar’s products such as self supporting arms and vehicle exhaust equipment e.g. hose reels and flexible hoses. The extension boom helps in reaching areas that are away from a wall or the mounting point. They can also be used to support items such as feeders or under-sling hoses or cables.
The swivel section of the boom is made from rolled steel pipe, which is caped at the bottom as standard. The top of the pipe, as the bottom, is adapted to accept a fan or flanged duct connection. The extension beams are manufactured from heavy gauge square steel tube with bearing swivel. The spiral ducting mounted along the beam can be either 160mm or 200mm diameter.
As standard all units are supplied with a bracket to mount Oskar’s fume arms. Double pivot type extension booms are divided by a centre bearing hinge that allows the user to reach back under the extension boom or just simply reach around a corner.
